Hi! My name is Kali, and this is my personal website. I teach Western Civilization and American Government at the local California community college and run a freelance web production service called strangegirl*designs. I hold a B.A. in Political Science (with a minor in Classical Civilization) and a Juris Doctor degree from U.C. Berkeley.

I have a wide variety of interests and talents, but my greatest loves at the moment are my family, my closest friends, my kitties, the 1964-65 New York World's Fair, fashion, various artistic pursuits (writing, drawing, and dance), James and Dolley Madison, the US Constitution, Kurt Browning, Disney theme parks, collecting Disney theme park audio, Tiki and Googie kitsch, midcentury modern design, transAtlantic luxury liners, Trader Vic's, holiday decor, and the color pink.

If you were wondering, my domain name is an allusion to a song by the Cure entitled "The Perfect Girl." :)
